Gildardo Lobo has over 20 years of experience as a valuable and energetic tennis professional. He has worked in many areas of the industry. His experience extends into providing coaching and services for private clubs and public facilities, high performance, traveling coaching, youth development, and sports ambassador.

“Lobo”, as everyone calls him, was born and raised in Venezuela where he played junior tennis since the age of 8. He represented his state and his country in several domestic and international competitions. In 1999, after a successful junior career, he earned an athletic scholarship to study in the U.S. where he attended Abraham Baldwin college in Georgia and later transferred to Webber International where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in finance.

He has worked in different clubs in the North East of the United States including Greenwich Country Club, Bedford Golf and Tennis Club, Chestnut Ridge Racquet Club and Sportime Mamaroneck. He has been trained and certified by ITF, USPTA, PTR, PPTR, PPR

Lobo is a very passionate and skilled instructor that is always looking to grow and develop programs by taking care of every individual. He loves to tailor lessons to players’ needs in order to maximize performance and enjoyment. Once you meet Lobo, you will see that he is a people person that loves to build relationships and grow constantly. He feels extremely happy to join the Redding Country Club family and looks forward to great things to come in this new stage of his career.
